Note that meeting dates and places could change as special events may be scheduled (e.g., we probably would not have a cannon shoot on a Wednesday evening at Legacy Estates).

DUES

2011-2012 dues are now due!  Please bring your cash or a check for $15.00 ($25.00 for a family membership) to the meeting, or you may mail it to Civil War Round Table, 1227 Lincoln Mall, Lincoln, NE, 68508.  So far, eighteen members have paid his 2011-2012 dues, two being family members, and three being new members, for a total of $290.00.00 collected.  The treasurer reports the following as having paid at this point:

A nearby and upcoming reenactment:  The Lewis & Clark Center and Mayhew Cabin are hosting a Civil War Reenactment at the Lews & Clark Center in Nebraska City on November 5.  Two battles will take place, one at 10:30 a.m. and the second at 2:00 p.m.  There will also be some history displays and the opportunity to talk to the participants about the Civil War.  Contact the Mayhew Cabin (402-873-3115) or Lewis & Clark Center (402)874-9900) for more information.  Here is a link to the Mayhew Cabin Events page, which announces this event:  Mayhew Cabin.
